For the entire five years that we had been contemplating a renovation and addition project to the very first meeting with our architectural team, we’ve always wanted to have a large living room with cathedral ceilings.
The TechBuilt house design always allowed for this approach by removing bedrooms, but I’ve never seen it implemented.
So it is with great excitement that the two bedrooms in the back of our existing house have disappeared in the past week!
We can now see what the all of the imagining looks like.
Going from an original house with 6 rooms – 4 bedrooms on the second floor plus a living room and eat in kitchen on the main floor to just two rooms – a master suite on the remaining half of the second floor and one large living room / kitchen combo with soaring ceilings is a bit of a radical change for our 60 year old techBuilt. But she appears to be taking the surgery well.
